A new portal

After a couple of years with a single static page, I wanted somewhere to put projects and the occasional small thought — somewhere between a tweet and a blog post.

The new ellery.net is an Astro site on Cloudflare Pages. Writing lives as MDX files in a private GitHub repo, edited through Sveltia CMS, with images on Cloudflare R2. Light and dark mode, two fonts, one accent color. That is the whole stack.

What I am still figuring out is the rhythm. The old site asked nothing of me; this one quietly asks me to put something here.
